I want to ask a few questions : 1) i stopped training for 5 months , lost 30 pounds, assuming i eat ,train, and sleep well , how much time will it take for me to get back to my top shape ?

2) how many hours do you recommend to sleep ?

3) when to do cardio when you’re bulking ?

4) is l-glutamine in powder form an effective supplement and how should you supplement it ?

5) what’s the best way to supplement creatine ?

6) truth about testosterone booster , does it work or not ?

7) what’s the perfect rep range for maximum muscle gain ?

8) how many grams of protein ,carbs, and fats should you be eating if you’re for example, 150 pounds?

Thanks so much guys!.

Do you (Dave) plan on ever making a book about posing techniques used in a body building competition show? Because I plan on competing in a fitness model competition during my 1st year of college but no nothing about the posing techniques. Knowing you have had experience in shows before know all about this stuff.

IN MACROS SHOULD YOU COUNT THE WHOLE CARB OR THE NET CARB AND SHOULD YOU FIGURE IN VITAMINS AND FISH OIL?

Chris October 28, 2010 at 1:02 am

Hey Dave,

I see you often posting “nutrition” details in a lot of your recipes. It’s great to know how many carbs or fats are in what I’m eating.
But, when I cook something myself, how can I figure out those kinds of details for what I’ve made?

Chris October 28, 2010 at 1:09 am

I’ve seen different workout programs recommend taking Amino Acid supplements.

Coffee, soda, and beer. What do you think about drinking those things. Is it OK in moderation, or should you steer clear of all 3 of those things completely?
